We want you to know exactly what's in skjur® and why. Dubious substances such as synthetic emulsifiers, allergenic fragrances, PEG compounds, silicone and mineral oils and preservatives* have no place on your skin. In our skincare range, you will find only selected and tested ingredients that are good for your skin.

Butyrospermum Parkii (shea) butter

  • Description: shea butter
  • Effect: moisturising, protective, intensively nourishing

C

Caprylyl glycol

  • Description: moisturiser/li>
  • Effect: makes the skin smooth and supple, antimicrobial

Cetearyl alcohol

  • Description: fatty alcohol, emulsifier
  • Effect: serves as a moisturising consistency enhancer, promotes the formation of emulsions


Citric acid

  • Beschreibung: Zitronensäure
  • Wirkung: Regulierung und Stabilisierung des pH-Wertes


Coco caprylate/caprate

  • Description: fatty alcohol from coconut oil
  • Effect: natural alternative to silicone, supple skin feeling, nourishing and moisturising effect

Coco-glucoside

  • Description: surfactant, coco-glucoside from coconut fatty alcohol and glucose
  • Effect: cleansing, stabilises foam


Ceramide NP

  • Description: skin-identical active ingredient, component of the stratum corneum
  • Effect: reduction of water loss, improvement of a healthy skin barrier


Caprylic/capric triglycerides

  • Description: mixture of medium-chain fatty acids of natural origin
  • Effect: light skin-nourishing oil

Disodium cocoyl glutamate

  • Description: surfactant made from sugar and vegetable oils
  • Effect: mild cleansing, good foaming properties

E

Ectoin

  • Description: amino acid derivative
  • Effect: forms a stabilising water layer around itself and as such protects the skin cells. The skin's moisture loss is reduced, the skin barrier is strengthened, and the cells are protected against harmful environmental influences such as UV damage

Glycoin (glyceryl glucoside)

  • Beschreibung: Zuckerderivat, Stressschutzmolekül
  • Wirkung: Stärkt die Lipidschicht in den Zellen, dadurch kommt es zu einer Hautglättung, einer Erhöhung der Hautelastizität und einer Steigerung der Hautfeuchte

Glycerin3

  • Description: nature-identical moisturising care active ingredient
  • Effect: moisture-binding, keeps the moisture content of the skin in balance


Glyceryl stearate

  • Beschreibung: Emulgator
  • Wirkung: begünstigt die Vermischung von öligen und wässrigen Bestandteilen in Kosmetika

Hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate)

  • Description: polysaccharide, endogenous substance 
  • Effect: binds moisture and plumps up the skin from the inside

Hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine

  • Description: phospholipid derived from lecithin, natural component of cell membranes
  • Effect: supports the natural skin barrier, can help to moisturise the skin, improves the structure and stability of formulations


Hydrogenated coco-glycerides

  • Description: mono-, di- and triglycerides from coconut fatty acids
  • Effect: replenishes fat and provides consistency, makes the skin supple

Isoamyl laurate

  • Description: fatty acid ester, emollient
  • Effect: makes the skin supple, spreads well

P

Parfum (fragrance)

  • Description: fragrances and fragrance mixtures
  • Effect: influences the smell of the cosmetic product.

Pentylene glycol

  • Beschreibung: zweiwertiger Alkohol
  • Wirkung: hält die Haut feucht und wirkt antibakteriell

S

Sodium anisate

  • Description: sodium salt of aniseed acid
  • Effect: antimicrobial, improves the odour and stabilises the pH of a cosmetic product

Sodium levulinate

  • Description: sodium salt of levulinic acid
  • Effect: skin conditioning, moisturising


Sclerotium gum

  • Description: sclerotium gum
  • Effect: regulates the viscosity of cosmetic products, natural emulsion stabiliser


Squalane

  • Description: oil, emollient
  • Effect: silky skin feeling, moisturising


T

Tricitum vulgare (wheat) germ oil

  • Description: contains natural vitamin E
  • Effect: moisturising, forms a protective film and thus keeps moisture in the skin

Tocopherol

  • Description: vitamin E, fat-soluble
  • Effect: prevents oxidation processes, prolongs the shelf life of ingredients and protects cells of the skin from free radicals


Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter

  • Description: cocoa butter
  • Effect: skin conditioning, forms a protective film on the skin


X

Xanthan gum

  • Description: xanthan, thickening agent
  • Effect: emulsion-stabilising, regulates the viscosity of cosmetic products
